
Meditation for Relaxation and Joy for Drinks With Benefits, NYC’s zero-proof festival celebrating mindful drinking and intentional connection.
This practice was offered inside quiet meditation tents at the festival, a small pause amid the day’s energy. It reminded me, that grounding doesn’t always require effort. Sometimes it simply begins with attention: noticing the breath, sensing the body and allowing ease to return naturally.
Creating this meditation in partnership with Sage + Sound and with contributions from Likely Co and Michael DiBugnara, was a deeply joyful experience. The practice supports relaxation, nervous system regulation, and gentle reconnection to ease and joy, offering a space to settle into yourself, wherever you are.
For me, sharing this meditation is about more than the festival or the moment it was created for. It’s an invitation: to pause, to breathe, to reconnect, and to remember that even brief moments of calm can ripple outward, supporting our nervous system, our clarity, and our sense of presence.
